The Radio Shack 2.4 GHz Wireless Headphones are an example where many reviewers have given a product moderate applause, and I'm absolutely ecstatic about mine.

The headphones are simple to use and perform better than my more expensive Senneheiser TR120 wireless headphones on several scores.  First the Radio Shack wireless headphones pair instantly to their transmitter.  There isn't any complicated dial spinning to find the right frequency, like I have to do with my Senneheisers.  Next, they stay locked on.  My Senneheisers, even if I'm sitting next to the base, can have a loud hissy fit for no apparent reason.  They also erupt if you don't make a sound in a set period of time, which is pretty inconvenient when you're studying a passage to play on guitar.

The other huge plus is that the Radio Shack wireless headphones and transmitter can be used independent of any kind of charging base.  On the Senneheisers, the charger base is the transmitter, and you have to plug a wire from the sound source (TV, guitar...) to the base.  With the Radio Shack headphones, all I have to do is plug the transmitter into a headphone jack on my music player, electric guitar, guitar amp, TV or you name it, and I'm good to go for hours.

The absolute only problem with the Radio Shack headphones is that the designers had to put plastic clips that go behind your ears to give them extra support.  I can wear them for about an hour and a half before I have to give my ears a rest, which works out fine because I usually need a break anyway.  Comfortability is, unfortunately, an issue with most headphones.  My Senneheisers are heavy and make my head hot.

These are not sport earphones by any means.  They'll flop all over the place and probably couldn't handle the abuse.  But for light chores and entertainment, they're better than anything I've tried.  The sound is great -- no Bluetooth-style lag between audio and video -- they charge quickly, and they're ready to go without a lot of fuss.  I love plugging them right into my electric guitar, travel guitar mini-amp, or big amp and playing away.  It's a wireless experience that's truly a blast.  (You will need a 1/4" plug adapter if your ax doesn't have a headphone jack.)

Note: If you need a wire free experience for working out, check out the
JABRA BT3030 Bluetooth Headset or Arriva Cordless iPod Shuffle Headphones.
Radio Shack 2.4 GHz Wireless Headphones are the best and easiest solution I've found to listening to music, watching TV and playing my electric/travel guitars without bothering anyone.  The headphones are simple to operate -- power switch left, volume right -- and they instantly pair with their transmitter.
The transmitter power switch is on the left side.  It has a standard headphone plug that works with most electronics.  Switch the headphones and transmitter on and you're good to go without having to search for the right frequency.
Charging is as simple as plugging in the charger and attaching both componenets.  It doesn't get any easier than this.
