Pure Protein
High Protein Bar

Protein bars certainly aren't essential to good health, but they're a terrific snack alternative to have on hand when you're tempted to grab a regular candy bar, potato chips or other junk food in between meals.

The biggest problems I have with most protein bars on the market today is they don't really have that much protein in them, they're loaded with fat, sugar and calories, and they taste horrible.  If they taste horrible and they're in close proximity to junk food, guess which one I'll grab.

For many years, I couldn't find a suitable bar that delivered the same bang for the buck as a protein powder and milk drink.  I certainly couldn't carry around a container of that mix, so I'd always end up back at the snack counter when I got hungry on the road.

It was a real relief when Pure Protein High Protein Bars appeared on the market a couple of years ago.  They pack 20 grams of protein into a little bar.  They have just 200 calories, 60 of which are fat, only 2 grams of sugar and are loaded with essential vitamins and nutrients.

My favorite version of Pure Protein High Protein Bars is Chocolate Peanut Butter.  It certainly doesn't taste like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, but it tastes better than all the power bars I've ever eaten.  The chocolate version is good, too.  But I really didn't like the cookie dough flavored bar.  The taste was off and it was too pasty.

If you're looking for a high protein snack alternative, you can't do better than Pure Protein High Protein Bars.  Just be sure to drink plenty of water with them.

Pure Protein High Protein bars are a great, healthy junk food alternative.  Each 200 calorie bar packs 20 grams of protein and loads of vitamins and nutrients.
Pure Protein High Protein bars are also, to my palate, the tastiest on the market.  The peanut butter and chocolate flavored bars are especially good.  I always have these bars on hand.  They keep me from grabbing junk food between meals.
