New Balance Walking Shoes
Running shoes are good for one thing: Running.  They're typically not designed with contoured soles that are good for walking.  And they can't take the increased sidewall stress presented by lifting wieghts and aerobic or plyometrics (jump training) workouts.

New Balance Walking Shoes fill the void quite well.  The shoes have leather uppers that provide extra-reinforcement for lateral moves.  The heel cups are bolstered to hold your foot in place.  And the interiors are cushioned for increased comfort.

The New Balance Walking Shoes' rubber outsoles are gradually contoured to roll across a surface.  They also provide extra shock absorption when you're jumping around.

The other huge plus for adventurers is if you buy them in black, they will look good with just about any outfit.  When treking through a city, I've gotten away wearing them into shoes required restaurants on several occasions.

New Balance Walking Shoes excel at everything but, well, running.

New Balance Walking Shoes have stylish leather uppers that reinforce the shoes' ability to hold feet firmly in place.
The shoes have cushy interiors and reinforced heels.

The custom outsoles roll along the street and provide extra shock absorption.
