Sport sunglasses have to be lightweight and durable. Native Eyewear took it to the next level by making them customizable to meet the demands of a full range of lighting situations and weather.
The Native Eyewear Dash Sunglasses I own have a feather light but tough frame with just enough flexibility to ensure changing out the four sets of interchangable lenses is a snap. There are protrusions on the lenses that fit into grooves in the frame. The first time I changed them out, I worried that I might crack the components. It was actually so easy, I soon switched them out without a thought.
The primary lenses I wear in my Native Eyewear Dash frames are the brown polarized versions shown top left. They cut the glare on the water and afford a great view of what's going on under the surface.
The orange and yellow lenses give me improved vision when running at dawn or dusk. They bring out details not normally visible in low light situations. The clear lenses are excellent in dim light conditions or at night when I don't want dirt or dust to blow in my eyes.
The sporty Native Eyewear Dash Sunglasses outperform any I've ever owned. They come with a pouch that holds the frame and lenses. It's great to have essentially four pairs of sunglasses that meet the demands of just about every environment I might encounter.
Just be careful: The front of the lenses is fully exposed and prone to scratching if you drop them on a hard surface. And the rubber nose pieces are a bit delicate so don't tug them when changing out the lenses.
NOTE: Eyewear styles and accessories are constantly changing. Native Eyewear might not be selling this exact model, but they have several designs with interchangable lenses.
The version I bought came with four types of interchangable lenses. The frame is tough but has just enough flexibility to make changing out lenses a snap. The brown polarized lenses (shown above) perform superbly on the water, cutting out glare and enhancing detail.
