Hydro BodySurfer
This is a very specialized piece of hi-tech equipment meant for one thing: body surfing.  There's nothing wrong with body surfing with only the equipment nature gave you.  But if you're looking for a little more excitement but don't want to lug around a body board, the Hydro BodySurfer will get the job done.

I bought mine after I saw a lifeguard on break in the ocean holding a BodySurfer out in front of him.  He cruised along the front of waves and rode them into shore, performed rolling maneuvers and turns you couldn't do without it.  He was wearing snug bodyboarding fins for extra speed and control.  I've used my Hydro BodySurfer just fine without them.

The sleek piece of plastic has a built in handgrip and adjustable wrist strap.  The Australian designer says it has a computer generated hi-tech design.  I say it's just plain old fun.

Here I am using my Hydro Bodysurfer on the coffee table. (It works a lot better in a wavy ocean.)  The solid piece of plastic sports a comfortable handgrip and adjustable velcro wrist strap attached to a short leash.
