Flents "Quiet Please" Foam Ear Plugs mold comfortably inside your ear canal, forming a barrier that reduces but does not eliminate outside noise.  They're absolutely essential at music festivals and bars, when you want to hear your surroundings but you don't want to get throttled by too much volume.
The most dangerous aspect of a rock concert, festival or bar band isn't the mosh pit, it's the volume.  Whenever I go out and forget my Flent's "Quiet Please" Foam Ear Plugs, the noise throttles me.  With them, I can hear the music at a pleasant volume and even people I'm speaking with, without having my ears blown out.

Flent's "Quiet Please" Foam Ear Plugs work best for me because the soft foam molds comfortably to the shape of my ear canals.  Wax earplugs tend to block too much of the noise, leaving me to listen to my own breathing, and they feel kind of slimy.  Pre-formed, rigid foam ear plugs don't deliver a comfortable fit or leave a space that lets the noise through.

In addition to using Flent's "Quiet Please" Foam Ear Plugs in high noise situations, I find they're great when I'm on the road staying in hotels with noisy AC's or camping in areas with a lot of rowdies.  The ear plugs  put the obnoxious sounds in the background, but don't block out the sounds that would alert me to an emergency.

I don't usually think much about Flent's "Quiet Please" Foam Ear Plugs, and I use them at least once a week,  which is exactly the point.  You can't ask for a better ear plug than one that's so subtle you forget it's saving your hearing.
